Uncover the majesty of the India sub-continent without breaking the bank!

Are you fed up with the typical flat-pack array of holidays? Are you looking to do more and get more from your valuable holiday experience? Are you interested in animal welfare and want to see the plight of Thailand's captive elephants for real, rather than read about it and do nothing? This is definitely the tour for you. Read on, intrepid adventurer, read on....

Designed for those wanting to travel with others of a similar age, who want to experience more from the countries they visit, this tour has everything you'd want from an experiential adventure, and then it really gets going!

TOUR ITINERARY

DAY ONE: Today will be the first day of one of the most incredibles of your life! Welcome to Thailand....

Let our team meet you on arrival at Chiang Mai international airport and whisk you off to meet your travel comrades at the tour starting point. Depending on the time you arrive there'll be plenty of time for you to get checked-in and freshen up before those lucky enough to have arrived in time, will meet up at a local restaurant for an informal get-together and chat over a few very cheap drinks

Meals included:

DAY TWO: So your first proper day on tour will begin with breakfast. After that we'll have a group meeting to discuss the tour, iron out any issues and get to know each other a little more. Let the new friendships begin!

On completion of the meeting we'll head off to explore this incredible city, visit breathtaking waterfalls and a little surprise that will perfectly set you up for your time at our supported elephant project!

Once back to the hotel we'll freshen up before heading in to town to explore the night market and sit down at a popular local restaurant for a genuine Thai dinner.

Meals included: breakfast, dinner

DAY THREE: Before we depart for the elephant project, you'll have time to pack up and prepare your day bag because we're about to hit the ground running... or walking slowly and taking it all in.

On arrival at the project we'll immediately meet the real reason you're here - the reason that trunk is here - the elephants themselves. Depending on group size and the requirements of the project will determine the schedule for the 5 days. But, we'll spend a lot of time with the kings of the jungle each day. Your exact schedule will be sent to you much closer to the time of your tour and will be guaranteed once you arrive to begin the tour. But we guarantee you the time of your life!

Meals included; breakfast, lunch, dinner

DAY FOUR to DAY SIX: Imagine waking up each day and sipping your coffee (or other morning beverage) whilst watching the elephants in the grassland below. Well, imagine no more, dearest explorer as this is exactly what would happen on this tour.

Your daily itinerary will be determined by several factors and will be set in stone once we know the group size as that will give us a clearer picture of available budget. In addition, as this project is set up by our partners, we need to work with the confines that they set for us. So once we have more definite numbers, as a confirmed traveler, you will receive an updated itinerary.

Whatever the work includes, you're promised daily interaction with the elephants. You'll walk them to the river for a wash and a scrub, you'll learn all about the history of elephants in Thailand, you'll get to understand much more about the future of the captive elephant numbers and how trunk is helping to create a new dynamic, led by experts in this field.

We guarantee you an incredible experience. One that, just like an elephant, you'll never ever forget!

Every meal is included for you during your stay. Your accommodation is on site and you're companied every minute of every day by our highly trained, highly experienced team of local guides.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner each day

DAY SEVEN: Unfortunately, this morning it's time to wave goodbye to the elephants who will touched you in so many ways. But all amazing things must come to an end. We'll leave the location early to head straight to the airport for our flight to Bangkok.

On arrival in Bangkok we'll transfer straight to our accommodation located in the centre of Bangkok's old city. We'll check-in and chill-out before we head out for a gentle stroll to orientate you to your new location.

Meals: breakfast

DAY EIGHT: After breakfast we'll have a catch-up and quick chat to educate you about Bangkok; things to look for, rules of the road and to explain more about the next few days.

Once we're done, we'll begin a gentle walking tour to show you many of the things we'll have spoken about. This isn't a tough walk, we're well aware of the heat! We'll also have plenty of water and welcome air-con breaks to help cool down and reenergise. We'll take in some awe-inspiring locations to help you really understand Thailand.

Meals: breakfast

DAY NINE: Today we're off to Siem Reap, Cambodia. We'll leave the hotel around midday to the airport and arrive in Cambodia a few short hours later. Today you'll also be saying goodbye to your Thai guide, and once you've stepped off the plane you'll be graciously welcomed by one of our Cambodia local experts, who we guarantee you'll instantly fall in love with. You'll be transferred to your hotel.

Once checked in we'll sit down for a chat about how the next few days will work. You'll hear more about Cambodia, your project work, the itinerary and more. Once we've completed it's time for an official welcome to Cambodia with a traditional local dinner. But it's got to be an early night, because......

Meals: breakfast, dinner

DAY TEN: ....today will be another one of those days that will live with you forever! We're up very early today to travel back over 1,000 years. It's the day we see sunrise over one of the seven ancient wonders of the world; Angkor Wat. We promise this is a day that, despite the early start, you'll be thanking your lucky stars that you were a part of.

Meals: breakfast, lunch

DAY ELEVEN to FOURTEEN: So today we bring the help to the impoverished communities of Siem Reap. We get stuck in to our project work, whatever that may be, and help to change lives. You have several choices of project work, from building houses to farming to installing clean water filtering systems. Whatever project you choose* you'll be changing lives and directly and positively impacting entire communities. You'll be leaving long-lasting legacies and taking away life-changing memories

Your transport to and from the project location is included each day, as is your lunch, as is all of the project materials, any tools and support from our on the ground expert team.

None of the work will be back-breaking. You don't need to be a professional to work on anything that we do. We have experts who will show you what needs to be done, and how. And for those who feel that by bringing groups in to do this work is potentially taking work away from locals, they're wrong. In addition to our groups we also employ locals and apprentices to give everybody a piece of the pie. It's a true win-win for all involved.

Meals: breakfast, lunch each day

DAY FOURTEEN: Today we say goodbye to you all. It's over. And trust me your life will be different from here on. The impact you've had on the locals, the people you've met, places you've seen, elephants you've hugged, will never be the same again.

As hard as it will be to say goodbye, we guarantee you'll be back. This is the most amazing tour you will have ever experienced.

Meals: breakfast
