Backpacking Novice? Let us show you the way.
Come with us on this incredible journey of discovery through south east Asia's most visited country. This trip is the perfect way to find your feet in Thailand whilst not having to worry about the planning, worrying about what you miss, feeling unsure about the language barrier and the 'spicy' food they eat over there! 11 nights will absolutely leave you wanting more - we've got you!
Starting in Bangkok on day one, by day twelve we'll have visited the very best of what Thailand has for you in a whirlwind of colour, tastes, smells, fun, parties and everything in between.
OUR FIRST TOUR IS ONLY $900 AS A SOFT-LAUNCH! DON'T MISS OUT!!
DAY ONE: Today will be the first day of the rest of your life! Welcome to Thailand....
Let our team meet you on arrival at Bangkok international airport and whisk you off to meet your travel comrades at the tour starting point. Depending on the time you arrive there'll be plenty of time for you to get checked-in and freshen up before those lucky enough to have arrived in time, will meet up at a local bar for an informal get-together and chat over a few very cheap drinks
DAY TWO: So your first proper day on tour will begin with breakfast. After that we'll have a group meeting to discuss the tour, iron out any issues, get to know each other a little more and probably laugh about what happened last night!
On completion of the meeting we'll head off to explore this incredible city. As we'll be located in the old city of Bangkok, this is the perfect location to learn about the history of Thailand, visit some of the world famous temples, take a boat ride on the River of Kings and be back to our digs in time to get ready for our 'official' welcome meal at an amazing local restaurant.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner
DAY THREE: No doubt there'll be a few sore heads this morning so we'll go easy on you and have you checked-out by lunchtime. It's then on to the famous city of Kanchanaburi in the east of Thailand. Transfer time will be a comfortable 2 hours.
We'll arrive in Kanchanaburi late afternoon so there's plenty of time to check-in and get sorted before we take you on a walk around the local area to help you get orientated.
As with most days on this tour, we'll end up in a bar and treat you to your first drink outside of Bangkok!
Meals included; breakfast
DAY FOUR: Today will be a highlight for many of you, we're sure. After breakfast we'll head north in to the jungles and pay a visit to the site of the Death Railway - if you've never heard of this, it's a sobering reminder of what happened here during World War II when hundreds of thousands of prisoners of war died in order to construct a railway through impenetrable jungle. A little dark? yes. But incredible? Absolutely!
From there, we'll head to the stunning waterfalls of Erewan. Bring your swimmers with you because (weather permitting) there's plenty of time for a freshen-up in the pools crystal clear waters.
Meals included: breakfast
DAY FIVE: After yesterdays full-on day of activities, you'll need a little time to chill so around lunchtime we'll be heading back east to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. Transfer time is around 3 hours so we'll arrive late afternoon. Plenty of time to chill and freshen up before we take an early stroll around the local area. Early night tonight though as day six is another full-on!
DAY SIX: Big breakfast this morning, you'll need your energy levels at max! Today we'll be taking an incredible bicycle ride through the incredible remains of ancient Ayutthaya. Don't panic though, Ayutthaya is as flat as a pancake, so you don't need to be a Tour de France athlete! We'll be cycling back in time around 1,000 years and visiting what was the heart of the Siam Empire.
We'll be done around mid-afternoon so once we've packed up our bags, had some food and grabbed some snacks, we'll be off to the train station to take the night train north, to stunning Chiang Mai, and to the ELEPHANTS!!
DAY SEVEN: You'll rest well on the train as you'll have your own bed, so you'll arrive well rested and ready to go when we reach Chiang Mai. We'll be met at the train station by our own fleet of trucks who will whisk us all off to our adopted elephant project, just an hour away, deep in the jungles. From the moment we arrive to the time we leave your time here will be one of the unforgettable experiences of your lives, we promise! You'll get heaps of time with the elephants, you'll help with developing the land, you'll learn all about the history of elephants in Thailand, how the mahouts (the official owner/handlers of the ele's!) and heaps more besides.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
DAY EIGHT: More and more elephants! You'll be living in the grounds of the project, so waking up for a breakfast coffee, with elephants roaming around, is a life-changing moment, believe it! Another full-on day of activities that also include the most incredible moments of taking the elephants to the river for a soak, a swim and a scrub. You are never, ever going to forget this totally surreal visit.
DAY NINE: We'll finish any project work that needs completing this morning before saying goodbye to the elephants and the mahouts and heading back in to the wonderful city of Chiang Mai around lunchtime. On arrival we'll check in to our new accommodation and then sit down for a world-famous Chiang Mai coffee and a chat. You'll then have some free-time to revel in your memories of your tour to date (and we guarantee the time with the elephants will be right at the front of your mind!) or head out and explore the city.
Meals: breakfast (and a world famous coffee!)
DAY TEN: After breakfast we'll have our official city tour and head off to unexplored areas that are off the radar and stunningly beautiful. We've even got a very interesting surprise for you! You're going to love this city, we promise, but tonight we'll be jumping back on the night train to Bangkok. Again, super comfortable as you're rocked to sleep and well rested as we arrive back in Bangkok, where it all began early morning.
DAY ELEVEN: Back to Bangkok! And back to where it all began. It's been a whirlwind, you'll be overloaded with memories, have a whole new circle of best friends, the confidence to go on and explore Asia even more and, more importantly, you'll have directly helped with the sustainability of the care we give to Thailand's captive elephants.
You'll have a free day today so get out, use your experiences and confidence and do what you want too. We'll of course be on hand to offer advice and assistance but today is all about you!
This evening we'll have our final group night out, a goodbye meal and we'll treat you to bucket of booze on the famous Khao San Road!
DAY TWELVE: Well that's it! It's officially over! It's time for those last day group photos, hugs and hi-5's. Our team will be around to help you with any onward travel plans that you have, OR, you can be a real travel legend and hop on to our beach bolt on..... read on for all the juicy details. If you want to experience the stunning beaches of Thailand, let us do the hard work and arrange it all for you.

We'll throw in a bucket on the beach and a full day snorkel boat trip around the island. If you're not a swimmer, you can just spend a day relaxing on the boat, enjoying the peace and topping up that tan.
Meals: breakfast each day
DAY EIGHTEEN: By now you'll be fully recharged and ready to head back to Bangkok. We'll leave the island on the ferry back to the mainland in the morning to then catch a very comfortable, air-conditioned coach for the drive north and back to the City of Angels.
